13 Reasons Why Season 5 Announcement
Season 4 came out on 5 June 2020 with 10 episodes on Netflix. Quite early on, it was openly stated that this would also bring forth the series finale. Therefore, putting an end to the franchise. A video was also released that showed the cast members sharing moments during their last table read and saying goodbye to each other and the fans. The series has been at the center of discussions regarding mental health issues and then became a concerning issue, especially with the onset of the second season.

Is the Show Cancelled?
Cult teen dramas generally find a way to tip the balance and become a frustrating cause for many. A lot of viewers found the show to be extremely triggering from the get-go itself, but at least it was initially following a set framework as per the original novel it’s based on. Most viewers saw the second season as an unprecedented comeback but thought that it might finally put an end to the series. However, it went on for yet another two seasons. The crew members of the show have associated the cancellation of the series after the fourth addition as something normal.
No actual reason has been stated as to why the step was taken. The audiences, however, are again divided on the matter. While some find it hard to say goodbye to their favorite characters, others respect the actions so taken. It has become a long ongoing debate that the series tried to promote a good cause, but the portrayal so witnessed seems to have led things astray.
