This month the streaming media giant screened a New York film by the filmmaker Noah Baumbach at the venue located at 4 West 58th Street for showings of Marriage Story.

The Paris Theatre was inaugurated in 1948 by the actress Marlene Dietrich on hand for its ribbon-cutting ceremony. The theater was initially known for its specialization in French cinema. And it was one of the country’s oldest art house theaters until it was closed in this year’s August.

And now Netflix will use this single-screen theatre for its events, screenings of Netflix originals or trailer or series launch. Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, was very happy to get the ownership of this New York historic institution. He was delighted to preserve it and reopen it with another grand purpose.

Therefore this historic institution of New York has been preserved and reopened for the public’s entertainment. The way it served enjoyment and happiness to the audience can’t get paused in any era.
