Medical Police Season 2 is an upcoming Netflix show who released its first season in January 2020. It is a spin-off of the Adult Swim black comedy series called Children’s Hospital. Created by Rob Corddry, the series stars Erin Hayes as Dr. Lola Spratt and Rob Huebel as Dr. Owen Maestro. The comedy follows the two doctors as they are recruited by a secret government agency in an attempt to prevent the worldwide spread of a virus. And after the release of Season 1 Fans have been waiting for Season 2.

No official announcement has been made with respect to Medical Police Season 2. Netflix usually takes three to six weeks before making an official call on the renewal or cancellation of its shows; therefore, we can expect updates on the topic from March at the earliest.

The reception of the first season has been generally positive. Noted for its dry humor and delightful satire, it holds a “Fresh” rating on RottenTomatoes, with ninety percent of the reviews being positive.

Season one’s finale left various open directions that a new season could take; take, for example, the fact that both Owen and Lola have expressed their feelings for each other, but both of them also have conflicting plans for the immediate future; Medical Police Season 2 will come soon?

The series is a continuation of an Adult Swim production called Children’s Hospital which was also created by Rob Corddry; and While Children’s Hospital is a parody of the medical-drama genre, Medical Police aims to parody spy-thrillers.
