“Keanu Reeves” featured in the trailer of the upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077
Hollywood’s one of the best actors and Netizen’s favorite person Keanu Reeves is trying a lot of different things. Keanu Reeves’s most recent flick John Wick performed well at the box-office.
Fans thought they would have to wait for a long time to see Keanu on the screen again. However, two months after John Wick 3’s release, Keanu Reeves featured in the cinematic trailer of the game Cyberpunk 2077.
What is Cyberpunk 2077?
Cyberpunk 2077 is a role-playing video game set in the future, where humans have advanced themselves with a prosthetic body part. It is developed and published by the gaming company CD Projekt. On the launch event of the trailer, Keanu joined the company executives on the stage.
Attendees of the event welcomed the actor with thundering applause and loud hooting noises. The actor famous for portraying Neo in the Matrix trilogy, during the event commented that Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be breathtaking.
On hearing the news, Netizens also came in a frenzy, and soon, the memes followed with the phrase “You’re breathtaking!”. Furthermore, it was also revealed that Keanu has voiced one of the major non-playable characters “Johnny Silverhand” in the game.
What was Reeves doing in Japan?
Everybody thought this was it, but they were surprised again when out of the blue, Reeves was seen getting clicked with the Cyberpunk 2077’s custom Yaiba Kusanagi motorcycle at Tokyo Games Show 2019.
Reeves signed his name and that of his character on walls of the booth for Cyberpunk 2077. There are rumors which suggest that Reeves may be seen in a few more games in the future.
Prior Video Game experience
Notably, this is not the first time the actor has appeared in a video-game. Reeves first appeared in the video game Enter the Matrix back in 2003 and subsequently again in 2005 in the game Path of Neo. Matrix 4 has been announced and looks like Neo has already started promoting the film.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release on 16 April 2020.
