Light for Dying Light 2 seems to be dimming.
The latest update from the gaming world has disappointed the fans. Fans were eagerly waiting for Dying Light 2, which was set to release in Spring 2020. However, according to the new announcement, the game has been delayed indefinitely. Dying Light 2 is a sequel to hit the 2015 first-person shooting game Dying Light.
Dying Light 2 Basic Plot and Delay
Dying Light follows undercover agent Kyle Crane who is sent to break in a quarantine area in the city of Harran. Quarantine Zone is filled with man-eating zombies out for food. Gameplay relies on weapon-based combat and parkour. The game received good feedback from both fans and critics.
Techland, the developer of Dying Light, had earlier released the few minutes of gameplay for Dying Light 2 along with a trailer of the game. Techland believes that they need more time to make the game. They said, “We apologize for this unwelcome news. Our priority is to deliver an experience that lives up to our own high standards and to the expectations of you, our fans.”
What will get better?
Techland has given us some details about the new game. This includes the fact that Dying Light 2 will take place 15 years later than the event of Dying Light. Streets of Harran are filled with flesh-eating zombies. Society is in new dark ages, and humanity is killing itself rather than waiting for the undead to kill them. Graphics, Parkour, and combat mechanics of the game have been improved.
Furthermore, the new game will be very interactive as the player’s choices will determine the direction of the game based on their choices. The result of these choices makes it unpredictable and thrilling. Moreover, Dying Light 2 will be available for the latest platforms such as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Dying Light 2 Release Date
It should be mentioned that this is not the only game that has been delayed. Few other games such as Marvel’s Avengers, Cyberpunk 2077, Iron Man VR, and Final Fantasy 7 all have been delayed. Dying Light 2 does not have a release date yet.
