‘Jonathan Groff’ Is Back In “Mindhunter Season 3”. Release Date, Cast, Plot and Everything You Wants to Know

Mindhunter is an American crime thriller series created by Joe Penhall and officially distributed by Netflix. It is based on the book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker. The first season of the series was premiered on October 13, 2017, on Netflix.

Plot of the series

The series is about FBI’s official and psychologist who interviews serial killers to know about their mentality, thinking and about their way of doing the crime which can make it easier of FBI agents to solve several cases.

It also reveals the real life of the high professional criminals who were being accused of being proved guilty for their crime. Series is majorly set in the period of mid of the 1970s to 1980s. Cast and character of Mindhunter

The major cast and their official character of the series are Jonathan Groff as Holden Ford, a special agent in the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, Holt McCallany as Bill Tench, a special agent in the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, Anna Torv as Wendy Carr, a psychology professor, Hannah Gross as Debbie Mitford, Cotter Smith as Robert Shepard, the assistant director at the FBI Academy overseeing the Behavioral Science Unit, Stacey Roca as Nancy Tench, Joe Tuttle as Gregg Smith, a special agent of Behavioral Science Unit, Michael Cerveris as Ted Gunn, Lauren Glazier as Kay Manz, Albert Jones as Jim Barney, FBI agent Sierra McClain as Tanya Clifton, June Carryl as Camille Bell, a mother murder victim.

First two seasons of series

The first season had 10 episodes, and the second season had 9 episodes, which were telecasted on August 16, 2019. The rating and reviews for series were really appreciative as the first season had a rating of 97%, whereas the second rating of 98%.

Mindhunter season three

As of now, there is no announcement of the renewal of season three as director of the series is busy in other film projects as well as on other animated series. We can expect the announcement of shooting and principal photography by early 2021 and can see the new part on-screen by the end of 2021 or early 2022.
