Bodyguard is a British political thriller crime drama series released on 26 August 2018 on BBC One written and created by Jed Mercurio, which gained the highest BBC viewing since 2008.
The cast of series is Richard Madden, Keeley Hawes, Gina McKee, Sophie Rundle, Vincent Franklin, Pippa Haywood, Paul Ready, Tom Brooke, Nicholas Gleaves, Stuart Bowman, Stephanie Hyam, David Westhead, Matt Stokoe, Nina Toussaint-White, Ash Tandon, Anjli Mohindra.
The series is about a police officer character David Budd(Richard Madden), a British army war veteran who is assigned for the principal protection officer for the home secretary Julia Montague(Keeley Hawes).
The season one closed with David ensuring his innocence of not killed the individual also his struggle with his mental health and solving his relations with Vicky and with many unanswered questions and many confusions which we will clear in further upcoming seasons.
The question which will be cleared out is whether Julia Montague is dead or alive while she was running for the post of Prime minister and if she is dead who is going to take her place.
The creator Mercurio recently, in an interview, revealed that the series would take four seasons to end up its story. These words from Mercurio created a huge hustle and bustle in the minds of the fans. As it has been a long two years of its first part, the fans can expect its release by August 2020 as this was the month bodyguard 1 was aired.
We know that we are getting a new season, but the release date for the season is still unavailable, but as soon it will return, the season is going to break all the all records as of season one.
