Overlord Season 4. How Long Will We Wait for Season 4? Read to Know Dates, Updates and More!

Overlord has taken the “Otaku” community by storm, ever since its first season was released in 2015. The first three seasons of the anime have been extremely popular and the anime has seen a lot of success. Fans especially loved the 3rd season and the storyline managed to invoke overwhelming emotions. The series brewed a storm of fans when it was first released in 2015.

Subsequently, the question to ask is when are we getting Overlord Season 4?

Overlord Season 4 – What’s it all about?

Overlord is an anime based on a Japanese light novel series of the same name. Kugane Murayama is the author of the series. The anime follows the arc of a guild, the Ainz Ooal Gown, and their hardships and activities. Each season has 13 episodes each and has been adapted by Madhouse Animation.

Naoyuki Ito and Minoru Ashina have directed the series. Shō Tanaka, Kazufumi Kikushima, Satoshi Fukao, Noritomo Isogai, and Yuki Yoshida are its producers.

Overlord Season 4: Plot

The animation studio has made no official announcements about the release date. But fans have not lost hope yet. There are speculations that there will be more light novels of the show that will be produced. Given the number of published novels and the fact that new English translations will be available by June 2020, we could see Overlord – Season 4 soon.

2021 is when we can expect it to release.

Overlord Season 4: How Long Is the Wait?

Unfortunately, yes. Even though season 2 and 3 came out rather quickly, there needs to be more progression in the story arcs. If this does not happen, there will not be enough material for the storyline of the anime. However, with the speculated release of newer novels, it is possible that the production on season 4 might begin soon and that we will be able to see it by 2021.

Until we get some news though, continue watching the series, who knows it might just be behind the corner.
