The fourth installment of splendid royal-drama series The Crown has been confirmed by the makers. Peter Morgan, creator of the series confirmed season 4. The global hit series covers the life of Queen Elizabeth ll as the third season followed her life between 1964 -1977.

The series shows the life of Queen Elizabeth from the 1940’s, with every royal aspect covered. Peter Morgan both created and writes the show. The series till now has covered up to the early 1970’s with the three seasons. The first season was aired on November 2016, followed by a second in December 2017 and a third in November 2019.

The Crown Season 4: Plot

Netflix, which premiers the show, and Peter Morgan confirmed that the fourth season’s plot will be set between 1970 to 1990. Season 4 will cover the issues such as lack of concern between the Queen and Margret Thatcher over the ‘Apartheid’ controversy in South Africa. Not only this, but the season will also follow the issues of the 1984-85 bulldozer strike, and the 1982 Falklands War.
