The DC Comics’ superhero movie Justice League which released in 2017, is said to come back with a second part. The superhero movie premiered its first part in 2017. Fans are now looking forward to the second installment to drop. The second installment was expected to be released by 2019, but the production house insisted on releasing the superhero movies which were still to be introduced. DC then released the film such as Aquaman and Shazam.
Plot and Cast of Part 2
The movie’s first part ended with the defeat of Steppenwolf by the superheroes. Lex Luthor finally escapes from the Arkham Asylum. He recruits Slade Wilson to form his league. The upcoming movie could be all about the superheroes fighting against their evil counterpart league formed by Lex Luther.
About the cast, Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder–Woman, Jason Mamoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Ezra Miller as Flash will be back reprising their famous roles.
Amidst the excitement, the disappointing news is that Zack Snyder will not be directing the second part. The information is that the director has left the production because of a family tragedy. Joss Whedon has now been shouldered with the responsibility of finishing the superhero movie.
Release Date of The Second Installment
The movie is not releasing anytime soon, nor this year. That is a piece of unfortunate news for the loyal DC fans. But the film is expected to arrive by early 2021, most probably April, if the rumors are to be believed. The fans might well just hope that the wait is while the worth.
