After fifteen years and nine months, numerous requests from fans world over everybody’s favorite sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S is returning on the newest streaming platform. Yes, a reunion of all the six friends is happening. This reunion has confirmed by each and every member of the gang.
Where can I see it?
Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Chandler (Matthew Perry), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), Ross (David Schwimmer), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), and Monica (Courtney Cox) will be doing an unscripted special episode. The episode will be available for streaming exclusively on the new streaming platform HBO Max.
Furthermore, the streaming service HBO Max will be launched on the same date as that of the special. Apart from the special, all previous ten seasons of the show will be available on HBO Max.
The series debuted in 1994 on NBC network and concluded in 2004. The show became an instant hit and became very popular. The show is also famous because, during the original run of the show, there was a time when the main cast members were earning almost one million dollars per episode. All six actors were unknown in their 20’s before the sitcom aired.

HBO Max executive Kevin Reilly said
“I became aware of Friends when it was in the very early stages of development and then had the opportunity to work on the series many years later and have delighted in seeing it catch on with viewers generation after generation,” Reilly continued. “It taps into an era when friends – and audiences – gathered together in real-time and we think this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans. Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together … ”
What will happen?
Details of the new episode are still under wraps, but it is confirmed that this episode is not a new season. Moreover, a reboot is also not happening. Each of the cast members will get at least 2.5 million dollars for this unscripted special.
