What’s Unique About It?
There are numerous Manga series that have come and gone, but this one is quite different, and this is not just because of fan’s loves towards it, and it can never be about critical acclaim. Akame ga Kill, which was renowned because of its brutality, gore, uncensored, and unexpected twist, had finished its stint in December 2014.
The gore was up to an extent where we have seen appendages of humans getting cut off and blood being splashed around like rivers. The series turned out to be interesting when our traditional thought of a main and developed character of series not being died or coming back anyway from the death widely neglected in season 1. The series has this thing where we have seen various developed characters turning their way straight to death.
The series definitely was not good on the critical front and even got criticized for the plot, but the only thing that we can say is that no one can point out a finger at is its art. The quality that anime possessed has mesmerized every fan, and the vibrant colors and fluid movement of characters were loved most.
A Renewal For Akame Ga Kill Season 2?
As soon as the series’ season 1 got premiered for its finale, the fans filled up the social media platforms with a request for the season 2. Though the craze took time to get faded but lately did and a confirmation for Akame ga Kill season 2 never arrived.
However, after sometimes rumors swirled in that season 2 is coming to amend all faults and will have only 12 episodes, which are just half of the chapters’ season 1 had. At the earliest, we are expecting the release of season 2 in 2021.
What Happened Till Now?
Akame Ga Kill was about Night Raid, which is a group having assassins into it and is together to bring down Prime Minister Honest, whose governance is for just to fulfill his need and depriving the public in any way he can. The assassins brutally kill everyone who comes in their way.
The first season was highly criticized for getting diverted from the manga series it has derived. Hence, most probably, season 2 will follow the light novel’s content only. Accordingly, we are anticipating a great battle between Akame and Kurome when they are sold off to the empire.
