USA Network has confirmed the American crime drama “Queen of the South” for a fifth season. Here’s what we know about it so far.

Alice Braga will return as the amazing ‘Queen of the South’ Teresa Mendoza for season 5. The show does not have a release date yet, but judging by its schedule, it might air in June this year. Like its previous installments, the season is expected to have a 13-episode storyline. The show premiered on USA Network in 2016. Subsequently, seasons two, three, and four were released in 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Alongside Alicia Braga, the show stars strong female characters played by Veronica Falcon as Dona Camila Vargas and Justina Machado asĀ  Brenda Parra.
