In some recently passed years, we had seen supermodel Kendall Jenner openly sharing her anxiety problems, but recently when she was attending Good Morning America on Friday, we got to know that The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is tackling the unwelcomed guest since childhood.
Kendall had joined Kenneth Cole, renowned fashion designer, to spread awareness about anxiety problems under ‘The Mental Health Coalition.’ The supermodel revealed that the problem arrived to her when she was “really young.”

Jenner expressed her first anxiety as “I was really, really young, and I remember … feeling like I couldn’t breathe,” while remembering “[I was] venting to my mom and being like, ‘Mom, I feel like I can’t breathe. Something must be wrong, and she, of course, took me to a bunch of doctors just to make sure that I was okay physically, and I was. [But] no one ever told me that I had anxiety.”
The model shared that growing up with problems helped her in managing it, but unfortunately, “maybe like three or four years ago it came back completely full-on, and I would have crazy panic attacks,” she stated though it was only recently when she got all information about anxiety even after facing it since long. This was something that motivated her to share her experience to spread awareness about the mental health problem.
Under the same campaign on Mental Health issues, she shared her experiences related to anxiety with the help of a video that she posted on Instagram. We hear her saying that “For me, I have good days and I have some really anxious days, so I’m really off and on,” she explained, adding that “on the days that I don’t really have as much going on, I tend to get a bit anxious. And, to calm myself down, I’ll usually read a book or meditate.”

At very first, Jenner revealed her experience with anxiety as she‘s “scared to fall asleep” due to the sleep paralysis that was occurring while traveling. Later in 2017, she came up with a piece of good news that she is able to cope up with anxiety with the help of meditation and yoga, and later in the year, she skipped Paris Fashion Week due to the same problem.
In 2018 she reported to LOVE magazine that “ “Last season I didn’t do any shows. Just ‘cause I was working in LA, and I was like ‘Oof, I can’t right now — I’m gonna go crazy.” “I was on the verge of a mental breakdown,” Jenner added. In an episode of KUWTK 2018, she revealed that while traveling and public events, she’s prone to get anxiety while knowingly she expressed that she’ doesn’t really want it to be an obstacle in her career life.
