Where to find Sinistea Location in Pokémon Sword and Shield? Sinistea Evolving?
Sinistea Location Answered!
If you are looking for Sinistea Location, Visit Glimwood Tangle, which sits between Stow-on-Side and Ballonlea. GO GET IT!
Like other pokemon founded in Glimwood triangle, Sinistea is generally encountered in the long grasses, but it is a rare pokemon and has an encounter rate of less than 2% so you possibly have to grind a bit to find your own Sinistea. Before Sinistea Evolution you, of course, need to catch a Sinistea. Get your Nintendo ready!

What is with Phony Form and Antique Form Sinistea in Pokémon Sword and Shield?
Pokemon Galar is made with a lot of similarities with the real world and that is true with the case of Sinistea- the ghost type pokemon.
With my experience in the game, I found that 99% of the Sinistea in the pokemon galar is of phony form. It means that you have a very slim chance of finding an authentic Sinistea.
As the Polteageist Pokédex entry explains, “This species lives in antique teapots. Most pots are forgeries, but on rare occasions, authentic one is found”.
But how will you differentiate between the 2 forms, well it is very easy. all you have to do is look for a blue color authentic stamp at the bottom ridge of the pot. This will help you differentiate between the two. It is important that it is authentic, isn’t it?
The only way you can clearly see this authenticity stamp is when either your pokemon are Dynmaxing or when you select the ‘Motion / Cry’ option in the Pokédex.
There is no stats difference or difference in the moves, so you don’t need to worry about Sinistea Evolution if you caught a phony form. But if you are interested in catching an authentic one then you should be ready to catch a lot of those as authentic one is a bit rare pokemon.
The only way to tell if you have a Phony Form or not is to see whether Sinistea Evolution takes place with the Ciiniracked Pot. If you can’t, then congratulations! Finally, You’ve got the real deal on your hands.
Where to find the Cracked Pot and Chipped Pot in Pokémon Sword and Shield for Sinistea Evolution
Both the Chipped Pot and cracked pot can be found easily in Stow-on-Side.
You can find one Cracked Pot hidden away behind the Pokémon Centre.
STEP 1: start by climbing stairs for the pokemon gym but switch to right side stairs after a climbing couple of stairs. As you go on the roof you will found a cracked spot lying near the jumpable ledge.
Step 2: Walk along the roof you’ve found yourself on and pick up the Cracked Pot, which sits near the jumpable ledge.
You can buy additional Cracked Pots and a Chipped Pot from the Bargain Seller in Stow-on-Side.
Every day he’ll have a new item for sale and will tell you which one he’ll be selling tomorrow. If you didn’t buy yesterday’s bargain, he’ll also allow you to buy that one too.
The items the Bargain Seller sells are on rotation and the prices vary. This means you might have to wait a couple of days for your Chipped Pot.

How useful is Polteageist in Pokémon Sword and Shield? After Sinistea Evolution
Sinistea is just simply a ghost type pokemon. It does not have the advantage of dual-type pokemon who have vast attacks and moves available in their arsenal. So yeah you might be at a disadvantage when using this ghost type pokemon.
If you want a ghost-type Pokémon in your party, then Polteageist is a good fill in until you can catch a Dreepy, but don’t consider making it a mainstay member, even if you have an authentic version.
