Clefable is one of the few Pokémon which can compete against Pikachu or its evolved form, Raichu, in terms of cuteness. But it doesn’t matter how cute it is, and this pink-colored Pokémon is pretty rare to discover. For the first five generations, it was hailed as a Normal-type Pokémon. But in Generation 6, it was changed into a Fairy-type Pokémon.
Clefable is the tallest among all of its pre-evolutionary forms, like Cleffa and Clefairy. Its body is shaped like a star. You can witness wrinkles under its black and vertical oval-shaped eyes. A curly fur is located at the top of its head. Both of its pointed ears have black-colored tops. The shiny version of Clefable also has pointy ears, but the top portion of their ears are colored in green. This feature helps us in differentiating them. It is also known as Pixy in the Japanese language.

How to evolve Cleffa or Clefairy into Clefable?
If you have a Cleffa in your bag and make sure its happiness level reaches up to 220. It will quickly get converted into Clefairy. But the evolution process of Clefairy requires a Moon Stone. However, finding a Moon Stone is not as easy as using it.
To encounter the Moon Stone in Pokémon Sword and Shield, you have to head to the Lake of Outrage in the Wild Area of the game. You will see a Watt Trader near a water body on your left side. The Rotom Bike (Route 9) needs to be upgraded for crossing the water. Now, you will come across eight different stones, and one of them will be a Moon Stone.
Now search your bag and select the Moon Stone for your Clefairy. Don’t forget to check its compatibility. If all goes well, then you will have a new Clefable in your hands.

Clefable’s powers and weaknesses in Pokémon Sword and Shield?
Clefable is a Fairy-type Pokémon, which makes it very strong against the Dragon, Fighting, Bug, and Dark-type Pokémon. Therefore, it becomes weak against Poison/Steel-type Pokémon.
Additionally, Clefable has many abilities like Cute Charm, Magic Guard, and Unaware. There is a 30% chance that your opponent will get fascinated with it on physical contact or attack. Magic Guard has the power of protecting its status against those moves which affect it. Unaware works as its secret ability. It helps in ignoring the alteration in its stats.
All of the moves mentioned above can become quite beneficial for you. They will aid you in strengthening your tactics. Many movements like Meteor Mash, Moonblast, and Disarming Voices can also be used by a Clefable. It’s up to the trainers whether they want to teach it the Fire Punch and Dig TMs. These moves will certainly help the Clefable in tackling the Poison and Steel-type attacks.
