Eevee

Why are you so cute, Eevee? We are pretty sure this question always throws your mind in amazement. And it’s safe to admit that it gives a tough competition against Pikachu for the “crown of cuteness” in Pokémon Universe. Well, let’s find out what more is better in this Eevee Evolution apart from the cuteness.

Introduced in Gen 1, Eevee is a Normal-type Pokémon which was developed by none other than Ken Sugimori. It’s a mammalian creature with its whole body covered with fur. It has a thick bushy tail whose top portion is cream-colored. A wide furry collar also covers its entire neck area having the same color as the tip of its tail. The inner portion of its pointy ears is colored with dark brown color. Its brown eyes are bright and oval-shaped. No claws can be seen on its small-sized toes. We can witness its resemblance with a Pomeranian dog.

How about a surprising fact? Eevee  Evolution does not brought any specific gender difference until Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. But a major gender difference was introduced in Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee. Now, you can identify its true gender with the help of its bushy tail. If a heart-shaped figure is situated at the top of its tail, then it’s a female Eevee. The male version has kind of a zig-zag pattern in that place. The chances of encountering a female Eevee are very low in comparison to its male counterpart.

Gigantamax Eevee

Gigantamax Eevee is longer and broader than the traditional version. The size of its collar becomes humungous. If you look closely at its right ear, then you will see three circular-shaped red clouds that constantly roam around its ear. The large-sized fur becomes very beneficial against the foes. It traps them and makes them lose their will to battle. This happens because they get infatuated with it. Because of its Gigantamax transformation, it turns out to be more energetic and playful than the original Eevee.

Gigantamax Eevee is the only Pokémon in the whole world that knows how to use the G-Max Move and the G-Max Cuddle.

EEVEE STATS, LOCATION, EVOLVING METHOD, USES AND MOREHow To Evolve?

Eevee’s genetic structure is quite unstable. It is the only Pokémon in the franchise’s history that is suffering from this genetic problem. Still, we don’t know what causes this type of genetic defect in Eevee. But many believe that its nearby environment can be a possible factor in affecting its genes.

That’s why Eevee has eight different evolutionary forms in the Pokémon universe. The following are the methods by which you can achieve your desired evolutionary form:

1. Jolteon (Electric-type): Its transformation requires a Thunder Stone.

2. Vaporeon (Water-type): Use a Water Stone to get this evolutionary form.

3. Flareon (Fire-type): Fire Stone is necessary to obtain this transformation.

4. Espeon (Psychic-type): You have to level up the friendship level in the daytime to achieve this Pokémon.

5. Umbreon (Dark-type): Same as Espeon. However, the nighttime is suitable for this process instead of a broad daylight.

6. Leafeon (Grass-type): Level it up in Eterna Forest, Pinwheel Forest, Route 20 in Kalos, Petalburg Woods, and many more in order to get your hands on this evolutionary form. Eevee’s presence near a Mossy Rock can do the trick in Generation 4 to 6. But you must possess a Leaf Stone for evolution in Generation 8.

7. Glaceon (Ice-type): Level it up on Route 217, Twist Mountain, Frost Cavern, Shoal Cave, and other places. Otherwise, take it near an Ice Rock in Generation 4 to 6. Generation 8 requires an Ice Stone to perform the evolution process.

8. Sylveon (Fairy-type): Know a Fairy-type move or level it up in Pokémon Amie (Gen 6) or Pokémon Refresh (Gen 7). Winning two affection hearts is also a great alternative.

How Useful Is My Eevee?

Eevee holds a cheerful personality. It is really friendly with its captors and can easily win their hearts by its childlike behavior. And we don’t think that we have to mention its cuteness again. It is considered as one of the most loyal and enthusiastic Pokémon ever.

Eevee becomes very weak against Fighting-type moves because of being a Normal-type Pokémon. It has the power of changing its body’s composition. This ability helps it in adapting to its living environment.

The first main ability of Eevee is Run Away. Its usage protects it from the deadly attacks of its adversaries. Basically, it runs away from its enemy which helps in neutralizing the attack. The second one is Adaptability. It aids in boosting the STAB from ×1.5 to ×2.0.

Additionally, Anticipation serves as the hidden ability of Eevee. It enables Eevee to sense the destructive moves of its enemies.
