Linoone Pokémon | Evolution, Weakness, Moveset, Stats, And More!

Linoone

Linoone is all known for its quite a strong Moveset that can effectively work on the weakness of its rivals and with the following information you may get the knowledge to the fullest that whether you want this evolution or not.

Linoone is a normal type of Pokemon, introduced in Generation III. Linoone is a slender, quadruped Pokémon. It has white fur but it has several brown strips too on its body. One of the stripes looks like an arrow pointing towards its face, it starts from its head and end on it’s back halfway. There are some other strips too like on its bushy tail and on its face around cheek part. It has sharp claws and small pointed, sharp teeth. It has small blue eyes.

It can run only in a straight line. It has to stop before taking a turn that’s why it’s usually hard for it to catch its prey. It can run up to 60 miles per hour. In Galar, Linoone has a black and white-coloured appearance due to harsh competition and unfavourable weather conditions in that region. But this allows it’s instinct to survive to improve, leading to the ability to evolve into Obstagoon. It has red eyes.

Galarian Linoone is known to be harsh and fearless. It recklessly challenges the opponents which are stronger than it. It uses its long tongue to taunt opponents. As we have seen in the anime, it has a liking to anything that is round and it would grab any orb-shaped object when he gets the chance. They tend to live in Grasslands. The brushes made from it’s strong and supple shed fur are highly prized. Its quality is totally admirable.

Linoone changes in different Generations:

  • In Generation III, Linoone doesn’t have the Gluttony ability.
  • In Generation, III-IV Linoone has a base Experience yield of 128.

How to Evolve?

It evolves from Zigzagoon starting at level 20. In Galar, Linoone has a dark / Normal type of regional form. It evolves from Galarian Zigzagoon starting at level 20 and evolves to Obstagoon when levelled up at night starting at level 30.

In Pokemon Go, Linoone ( Galarian) evolves from Zigzagoon ( Galarian) which costs 25 candy and evolves into Obstagoon which costs 100 candy.

In Pokemon Sword and Sheild, once in the night time, Linoone needs to be at Level 35 or higher in order to evolve. If it’s wasted, players need a couple of battles or rare candies to get it to that point.

How Much Useful Is My Linoone?

It is a dark and normal type of Pokemon. It’s vulnerable to Fighting, Fairy, Bug moves. It’s strong against Dark, Psychic and Ghost-type of Pokemons. At level 40, it has a Max HP of 158 in Pokemon Go.  Its main moves consist of Dig, Thunder, Grass Knot, Gunk Shot, Body Slam etc. Strongest Moveset of Linoone is Snarl and Grass Knot which has a Max CP of 1,662. This move combination has the highest total DPS and is also the best Moveset for PVP battles. In its defence and against others weakness, Linoone can use the same Moveset. It’s effective in protecting it from dangers too.
