Lanturn is a dual-type Water/Electric Pokémon introduced in the 2nd Generation. It evolves from Chinchou starting at level 27. The bacteria that are present in antennae sucks Lanturn’s all ball fluids, then a lighting effect is produced. The light coming from it can illuminate the sea’s surface even though it is over three miles deep.

Lanturn maybe a blue Pokémon that resembles an anglerfish. It has big, red eyes with a yellow mask-like marking around them and little, light blue pectoral fins. The lower half its tailfin is yellow and has jagged edges. On its back is a Y-shaped antenna with a spherical orb at each tip; this antenna is a modification of its dorsal fin. The orbs inside it absorb the Lanturn’s body fluids and emit light. It lures prey using the glow, then blinds them by using an intense flash before it swallows them whole. The flash it creates is visible on the surface from a depth of over three miles (five kilometres). Thus it is also called “The Deep Sea-star”. Lanturn fights with Lumineon when it goes for catching its prey “Starmie”. Lanturn inhabits the ocean.

How To Evolve?Lanturn Pokémon | Evolution, Weakness, Moveset, Stats, And More!

At first, It is Chinchou after reaching level 27, it evolves into a Lanturn.

How Much Usefulful Is My Lanturn?

The light that is emitted from it, is so bright that it can light up the sea’s surface even over three miles deep. The enemies are blinded by its illuminating light and then it swallows the frozen prey just in a single gulp. This Pokemon uses the brilliant part of its body, which changed from a fin, to lure prey. Due to its an illuminating antenna, it is also called as “The Deep Sea-star”. The light is produced due to the reaction between bacteria and it’s body fluids, inside the antenna. This pokemon is known to emit light. If you peer down into the dark sea from a ship in the dark, you’ll sometimes see this Pokemon’s light rising from the depths where it swims. It gives the ocean the appearance of a starlit night. This pokemon blinds its prey creating a flash of light. This creates a gap for it to deliver an electrical attack.

Well, do you think that the Lanturn Evolution can suffice your needs in the game after going through its weakness, Moveset, stats, and more? If yes then you should run down to the Lanturn Evolution!

But if still, you think that you may find some better Moveset, stats, and less unhealthy weakness with the help of evolution other than of Lanturn, then Herald Journalism has information stocked for that purpose.
