Isekai is a genre of light novels that revolve around a person who is from the earth and has been transported to or reborn in a parallel universe or a fantasy world where they have to adapt to this new environment. The anime is an Isekai fantasy where Yosuke Yotsuya is transported into another world and his entire persona changes.
Three teenage kids who attend the same high school are transported to a video game universe. Yusuke Yotsuya, Iu Shindo, and Kusue Hakozaki are granted their quest by the game master. They die and come back to life again with no consequences until at least one of them is always living.
Shindo is a beautiful, athletic, and genius girl who is given the role of a wizard blessed with the elemental powers of the wind. Hakozaki is given the task of being a sword-wielding warrior but she has still a lot to learn as she is shown as a shy and not so courageous girl. Yotsuya is our uninspired protagonist who in real life is considered a coward and has no idea whatsoever of his future. As he always playing video games, it’s like a dream come true for him in this virtual reality. He is given the role of a farmer. We don’t know if his character has any special abilities or not yet.
This is every gamer’s fantasy come true, a world where you don’t die and are surrounded by mythical creatures and magic, and are tasked with completing quests.
The voices are given by Yuto Uemura for Yusuke Yotsuya, Risa Kubota for Lu Shindo, Azumi Waki for Kusue Hakazaki, among others.
