Geodude is a Rock/Ground-type Pokémon that was introduced in the First Generation of the Pokémon franchise. Geodude by look only seems so much powerful but it really has that quality can only be known once we will go through its Moveset, Stats, Abilities, Strength, Weakness against other Pokemons, and many more that it achieves from the evolution.
Geodude is a grey-colored Pokémon that resembles the shape of a boulder. Its eyebrows are made up of rocks. It has big eyes with oval-shaped brown pupils inside them. Its mouth is also very wide. Two big and strong arms are located on both sides of its body. Its entire body has a rocky structure. The size of its bicep is a bit smaller than its lower arm portion. It has thick palms and fingers. Its body starts to chip and eventually becomes round and soft when it enters old age.
Alolan Geodude (Pokémon)
Alolan Geodude is a Rock/Electric-type Pokémon that was introduced in the First Generation of the Pokémon franchise.
Alolan Geodude is completely made up of magnetic rocks. It appears silvery in comparison to its traditional version.Because of possessing magnetic power, its body attracts metallic particles. As a result, its eyebrows are thick and black in color. Only its thumb and index finger are free and the remaining fingers are intertwined together. It also possesses several magnetic spikes on its head. Other than the features mentioned above, its appearance looks pretty similar to the normal Geodude.
Geodude is very proud of its hardness and rocky structure. To prove its strength, it bangs itself against the members of its own kind.
Geodude is mostly discovered in mountainous regions and fields. It is often mistaken as a normal rock and people unknowingly step on it. As a result, it waves its arms in anger and may hit someone really hard.
Geodude likes to sleep in long-depth areas. It buries its lower body into the ground for taking a nice nap and wakes up in the morning.
Like its traditional version, Alolan Geodude also likes to show its hardness by bashing itself with the other members of its own kind.
Alolan Geodude doesn’t like to be stepped on by people. Only this time, the victim receives an electric shock or a powerful headbutt.
Alolan Geodude fires the metallic particles which get stuck with it only if it doesn’t have a real rock to hit.

|Trade Geodude in Vermilion City (Alolan Form)|
The evolution of both types of Geodude are listed here:
Geodude serves as the first evolutionary form in its family and it takes level 25 to see its evolution into Graveler (Rock/Ground-type). Furthermore, it can be transformed into Golem (Rock/Ground-type) through the trading process.
Like above, Alolan Geodude is also the first member of its evolution family. Increase its level up to 25 to snatch an Alolan Graveler (Rock/Electric-type). Furthermore, you can trade it to get Alolan Golem (Rock/Electric-type).
Rock Head saves Geodude from any kind of recoil damage. On the other hand, Sturdy protects it from getting into a knockout or unconscious state even if it has only 1 HP to survive. It doesn’t matter if its opponent attacks it with full HP.
Sand Veils functions as Geodude’s hidden ability. Whenever it gets hit by a sandstorm, its evasion increases by one level.
Magnet Pull doesn’t allow Alolan Geodude to escape or switch out from the battle. Furthermore, it also possesses the ability of Sturdy.
Galvanize is the hidden ability of Alolan Geodude, it converts all of its Normal-type moveset into Electric-type moveset. Plus, their powers also get increased.
Alolan Geodude shows very much weakness against Fighting, Grass, Ground, and Water-type moveset.
Alolan Defense and Attack stats of Geodude are the lowest among all Electric-type Pokémon and that could be a weakness that can affect your chances of winning.
Well, do you think that the Geodude Evolution can suffice your needs in the game after going through its weakness, Moveset, stats, and more? If yes then you should run down to the Geodude Evolution!
But if still, you think that you may find some better Moveset, stats, and less unhealthy weakness with the help of evolution other than of Geodude, then Herald Journalism has information stocked for that purpose.
