Abdullah Khan, a 38-year-old nephew of actor Salman Khan, died on Monday in Mumbai. Initial media reports were unclear on the cause of death, with some organizations reporting Abdullah had died of a lung infection, triggering rumors of him suffering from coronavirus.
Abdullah had been admitted at the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai some days back, but Salman Khan reportedly shifted him to the Lilavati Hospital as his condition worsened. The 54-year-old actor shared a greyscale throwback picture with Abdullah, and he wrote: “Will always love you.” Abdullah Khan, who was frequently spotted with Salman, often did fitness training with the actor.
He was reportedly admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital, and the cause of death has not been revealed as of now. Besides Salman Khan, Abdullah was remembered by Salman’s close friends Iulia Vantur, Daisy Shah, Zareen Khan, and Bina Kak.
Salman Khan’s nephew Abdullah Khan is no more. Abdullah Mirza Khan is the son of Salman’s father and scriptwriter Salim Khan’s sister. The actor took to his social media to mourn the demise of his beloved nephew.
While not many details have surfaced so far, it’s’s been known that Abdullah was suffering from liver ailments for some time now and succumbed to lung cancer. His demise may have shattered the Khan family and friends, and we pray God gives the family strength to hold up to this unfortunate incident.
Mateen Khan, a cousin of Salman Khan, told that Abdullah was suffering from diabetes and refuted claims that he may die of the coronavirus, saying, “These claims are baseless, and the truth will be revealed after the post mortem report comes.”
Salman mourned Abdullah’s death in a Twitter post, putting an image of the two together, with the caption, “Will always love you…”
While not directly associated with Bollywood, Abdullah has appeared with Salman Khan in social media videos and photographs and was known for his toned physique.
