Angelina Jolie has been in the acting field ever since she was 6. She has been called the most beautiful woman on Earth and is admired for her acting skills. She has won three golden globe awards and is also a humanitarian.
Angelina is no stranger to the industry. Her father, Jon Voight, was an oscar-winning actor, and her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, was a fine actress in her time. Jolie started her first debut when she was six in her father’s movie Lookin to get out (1982).
She later went on to become a model and had her first break with the movie Cyborg, which was a failure. Lately, the 44-year-old actress has been open about her health struggles that are caused by stress. She had a rough time overcoming the loss of her mother to cancer.
She also discovered she has the BRCA1 gene, which put her at a high risk of breast and ovarian cancer. She underwent surgery to remove her breasts in 2013 and her Ovaries in 2015. After the split with Brad Pitt, she has been having a stressful time in her life.
In the Vogue September issue, she opens up and publicly addressed she has hypertension and Bell’s Palsy. She was split from her husband and partner, who decided to end the 12-year long relationship and took this court. This took a negative toll on her health.
The award-winning actress said, “Sometimes women in families put themselves last until it manifests itself in their own health.” Bell’s Palsy is a condition where the facial muscles become weakened or worst, paralyzed. Fortunately enough, the conditions are quite temporary and can be treated with facial massages and acupuncture.
Hypertension comes with high blood pressure. With a life in the spotlight, things do not come easy. Jolie continues to stand against all these odds for her kids Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox.
