Atlanta: A Georgia welcomed an unknown and uninvited guest at their home. They were amazed to see this surprise gift of their Christmas. A family discovered an owl hiding in their Christmas tree. The owl was hiding there from a week, and the family found him last Thursday in the evening.

Of course, it was a surprise to discover a real owl in a Christmas tree. The family was surprised to have him as an unknown guest at their home.

Katie McBride Newman and her two children, India and Jack, finished their dinner and were clearing the table. Then suddenly India, 10 screamed “oh my gosh” and ran to her mother.

Her mother immediately came and checked the tree and saw an owl hiding in the Christmas tree. They gave owl food to make him go out from windows and doors. They kept on remaining entries open for several days, but the owl didn’t leave.

The family contacted Chattahoochee Nature Center, a non-profit environmental center. They came and caught the owl and identified him to be an Eastern screech owl, common in the Georgia area.

According to the employee, the family didn’t hurt the owl and did everything in order to the owl for escape. But he was quite a week as he didn’t have anything from a week, and therefore they gave him nutrients and necessary supplements for his recovery and growth.
