Prologue about Inuyasha

Inuyasha, also known as “Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale,” is a manga series (i.e., comics or graphic novels created in Japan or using Japenese language and conforming to a style developed in Japan in late 19 century ) written by Rumiko Takashi.

This series is premiered in weekly shõnen Sunday on November 13, 2008, with 56 chapters. The first season is broadcast for 167 episodes on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV in Japan from October 16, 2000, to September 13, 2004. Second season “Inuyasha – The Final Act” became airing five years later on October 29,2010, having 26 episodes.

This series is also spread in America as well. Four feature films are also got on the broadcast, which suggests the success of the series. It ha 7.9 IMDB ratings.

Is Inuyasha Season 2 is Coming?

Now the Japenese production company SUNRISE is going to revive Inuyasha anime franchise and deliver a series ” Yashahime: Princess Half Demon” America’s Viz media has come on board to handle digital streaming rights, electronic sell in the north and Latin America’s territories. The SUNRISE production team is reuniting to erect the series, which follows the daughter of former lead character Inuyasha, a half-demon who contemporary teen Kagome meets when she gets stuck in feudal Japan and his full demon brother Sesshomaru.

Here is the synopsis for the upcoming season.

“Set in the feudal Japan half-demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi’s brother and his family.

Ten years later, the tunnel that connects the two eras reopened, allowing Towa to be reunited with Setsuna, who is now a demon slew working—working for Kotaku. But to Towa’s shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister. Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha  and Kagome, the three young women travel between the two eras on an adventure to regain their missing past.”

This can be found on the Viz media official website.  However, dates are not finalized yet. When will this season set on the broadcast we all have to wait for it? Besides this, in a news report, Takashi said: “The  following anime announcement Tero Sato will direct Yashahime: Princess Half Demon, along with Katsuyuki Sumisawa, on a screenplay, while Yoshihito Hishinuma is responsible for animation character design and music from Karu WADA.”

So until the dates are finalized, we have to wait for Yashahime to be on our screen.
