There has been no news from the producers of the show. However, recently in an interview with Nicole Kidman who plays the violent Celeste Wright in the show claims the preparations are on. The rumor mills referred to her interview as a probable Season 3 declaration. Let’s keep the hopes alive, guys!
The Storyline
The story opens with the setting in a public school in Monterey, California. A murder is committed on Trivia night and all hell breaks loose. Neither the victim nor the accused is revealed though. Rummaging around with this main plot is the subplot of five women being interrogated for their involvement.
How these women with kids in the same school and struggling through other obstacles in life fight through the allegation forms the backdrop of the story.
The show has already had two successful seasons. Let’s see what season 3 has in store for us.

The Cast
Big Little Lies has an amazingly popular cast. Starting with Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Alexander Skarsgård, Adam Scott, Zoë Kravitz, James Tupper, and Jeffrey Nordling to Laura Dern, Kathryn Newton, and Iain Armitage. The last season also had Meryl Streep in a guest appearance.
