Big Little Lies is an American drama TV series based on the novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty. The series is created by David E. Kelley and directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, Andrea Arnold. The series debuted on February 19, 2017, with its first season, and then the second season was aired on June 9, 2019. Both seasons had seven episodes of each.

The storyline of the series is about a trio of wealthy women, Madeline, Celeste, and Jane, who are entangled in a murder case. Then the story moves ahead how some big or small lies to their family, husband, children create lots of chaos and confusion in their lives. The situation becomes worse and much more lethal due to these lies. The story throughout goes with lots of dark humor and much of comedy with it.

The series is said to be one of the finest hits of the HBO network as it has really appreciating response and won a really great number of awards and lots of nominations too. After the success of the season, two HBO president claimed that it was tough for them to prepare the 3rd season soon as the cast of the series has been scheduled for other projects, but it doesn’t mean that there will be no upcoming season, as soon as the cast is free they will work together for the upcoming season. As of now, there is no affirmative announcement or trailer for the season third, but we can expect it soon.
