What was Bright about?
Bright is the Fantasy Action movie. This movie was being released on December 22, 2017. It was being released on Netflix. Bright did receive so many negative reviews for the screenplay and cinematography. Netflix did say that this movie has been viewed more times than any other movie during their first week.
Release Date of Bright 2
After the release of the first part, Netflix did announce that there will be going to the sequel of Bright. Netflix did also confirm that Will Smith and Edgerton are going to repeat their role in the sequel as well. On May 5, 2020, Netflix did start doing negotiations with Louis Leterrier to be the director of Bright 2. There isn’t any confirmed news about the release date, so we had to wait for now.
What are the Expectations from Bright 2?
According to some sources, there has been news that Angelina Jolie is going to be part of the film. And there have been some rumors that she is expected to be seen as the role of Villain. There aren’t any details yet, but we can expect that she can be the one who is in connection with Edgerton’s character.
But as we did see that Angelina Jolie had only made quite a handful of appearances in the movies last ten years and which includes two Maleficent movies. So, it can take a lot of convincing to be part of the film and a lot of cash, of course. There are also some A-List stars to be part of the sequel, but we can definitely expect that they are most interested in Angelina Jolie to be part of the cast. So, let’s hope for the best.
