The Senegal Original Atlantics is going to stream on Netflix in this month only. The Atlantics will hit the screens of Netflix on 29th November 2019. Excited right? We are too. Atlantics has been royally praised by critics across the globe. It is the Senegal Netflix Original drama written by Olivier Demangel and Mati Diop.

The award-winning movie was directed by Mati Diop and was appraised and featured at the Cannes Film Festival. Mati Diop is now the first black woman to compete in the Cannes Film Festival and get a grand prize for the film.

Netflix has put in all efforts to make the streaming grand of this film and licensed for international distribution to streaming it worldwide.

The story plots revolve around the after months without pay, the workers of a construction site of a futuristic site head to the ocean to seek a better future for themselves and their families. Amongst the workers is Souleiman, the lover of Ada, who is engaged to another one. Days later, after the workers disappear, Ada’s wedding is exploited by fire, and the mysterious virus begins to spread, but unknown to Ada, Souleiman has returned.

The languages in which Atlantics will be available are French, English, and Wolof. However, the English subtitles will be provided.
