Demon Slayer is a Japanese anime television series directed by Haruo Sotozaki, Produced by Hikaru Kondo, Akifumi Fujio, Masanori Miyake, Yūma Takahashi and Written by Ufotable. The series aired from April 6 to September 28, 2019, on Tokyo MX, GTV, GYT, BS11, and other channels. Later it was streamed on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Funimation now. The first season had 26 episodes.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Story Line
Demon Slayer is said to be the best of anime series of decade 2010s as it was a complete package of family, friendship, heartbreaking, action, humor, and much more. The series got a huge number of awards and nominations for its amazing concept.
The series follows the life of a young boy Tanjiro who sells charcoal in his village and neighbor village as he is the only earner in his family because of his father’s death. One day after returning from his work, he saw his whole family killed by a demon, and only his sister survived and was turned into a demon, but there were some human qualities left in her, which made her polite in nature. Then the journey begins where he tries to cure her sister and avenge his family.
Demon Slayer Season 2 Release Date & Updates
After the release of season one, a sequel movie for the series was announced, which is set to premiere in Japan on October 16, 2020. As of now, there is no official announcement for Demon Slayer Season 2, but as the first season ended with lots of unanswered questions and also Tanjiro has to continue in his life, so we can expect Demon Slayer Season 2 for the series. As there is no announcement, we can expect its release by late 2021 or early 2022.
