Dexter is a crime thriller drama in which everyone’s favorite serial killer Dexter Morgan, which is played by Micheal C. Hall, is an eponymous protagonist. He is a forensic technician by profession who is specializing in bloodstain pattern analysis.
Dexter Season 9: Storyline
Dexter is based on the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter by author Jeff Lindsey in 2004. Dexter’s target is not the innocent people but the other serial killers. In the last few seasons, the popularity of this show took a turning point with its storylines. It became more outlandish. Last season ended with Dexter’s series finale ” Remember The Monsters?” which is quite a negative response. In the last few episodes, Dexter spent it on thinking about his future, but Deb made him fix his past first.
Though there is no exciting plot yet for the upcoming season, writers tried to manage the next season. Since the show is not giving very much rocking or good plots from the last few seasons so the pressure is all on the writers, and that is why it is still in suspense that season 9 Dexter will come to the screen or not.

Dexter Season 9: Release Date
Previous season i.e., season 8 of this show, was released on June 30, 2013, on Showtime owned by CBS. It had 12 episodes in total, which came to an end on September 22, 2013. However, when the 8th episode of season 8 was telecasted.
Showtime announced that this would be the last season of this series. But later on, a poster came out indicating the arrival of season 9, and hence the news was proved fake. But it is still not confirmed that season 9 will come for sure or not, and therefore, there is no release date announced yet.
