Goblin Slayer is one of the most criticized and controversial yet high selling Anime Series, in Anime history. It’s Season 2 will come, but there are grey clouds on timelines.

Goblin Slayer Season 1 controversies and success
Earlier, some Anime critics and fans had not well-received it’s Season 1. It had shown some molestation and assault graphics leading to women’s injustice, in initial episodes. Later, the show covered the lost pride in further episodes with mysterious story turns. Fortunately, such intimidating graphics are not a big deal for Anime genre.
Goblin Slayer is originally a dark fantasy light novel, adapted to the manga, and converted to Anime series in 2018. Anime’s Season 1 released on Feb 20, 2019, selling over 4165 Blue-ray Box sets.
What will happen Goblin Slayer Season 2?

In Season 1, Goblin Slayer focuses on slaying and extermination of only goblins. He is an adventurer with an underrated image who appears to have an autistic personality, a few friends, lives with a cow-girl friend and her family at their farm. The autistic-adventurer gets the task of saving his and cowgirl’s village from goblins, by Adventurer Guild. Slayer is unaware of the big monsters who will come to him in the future.
What to expect in Goblin Slayer Season 2?
Season 1 finale ended with the frame having a note, “Goblin Slayer will be back.” Goblin Slayer, along with Lizard priestess, had saved his and cowgirl’s village. Also, the last episode revealed Slayer’s face partially, showing his 2 cut marks on face.
It appears that Season 1 finale had given a message for its coming of season 2. We may see Goblin Slayer’s full face, his real name (as village people gave him this name). Fans will continue to witness his unique and creative methods of slaying goblins. It will be interesting to see how he handles the repercussions of killing Goblin Warlord.
What is Season 2 release date?
There is no release date for its Season 2 release. Currently, Season 2 seems to have to wait as other series are already lined for White Fox studio. Meanwhile, Anime Movie Goblin Slayer – Goblin Crown, has just released in Japan, on Feb 01, 2020.
