Infant child Murdered by 22-year-old Malaysian Mother for Making too much Noise

In January, last month, a Malaysian mother brutally killed her infant daughter in the middle of the night. The mother killed the baby out of irritation as the baby was crying while the mother was trying to sleep, so the mother decided to never let the baby disturb her sleep ever again.

The mother is identified as 22-year-old Nurul Shamira Mazlan, who is currently in prison. The date of the murder is not clear, but it is assumed that the horrible atrocity was committed somewhere between 5-11 January, last month. The child “Nur Shahana Abdus Quddus” was murdered in between 11 pm to 12 am in an apartment in Taman Kempas Indah.

After seeing the child in such a condition, her 49-year-old grandmother, Madam Aslindah Md Sahat, rushed Nur Shahana to the local hospital in an attempt to save her life. The infant was taken to Sultan Ismail hospital, where all possibilities were tried to save the child, but she succumbed to her injuries and wounds on 13 January.

Aslindah spoke to the media about her and her granddaughter’s relationship and said that she was the most attached to Shahana, and losing her was devastating for her. She will certainly affect her life as she was very close to her granddaughter.

On 22 January, Nurul Shamira Mazlan was tried in the Johor Bahru Magistrate’s court. The Judge, Rashidah Baharom, found her guilty of committing first-degree murder under Section 302 of the penal code of the Malaysian law and orders.

After the hearing, it is possible that Nurul Shamira Mazlan will face execution pretty soon. The next date for the hearing has been announced as 24 February. Currently, the guilty mother is behind bars in prison and is waiting for her trial. Further reports and information regarding the case are not yet released by the police and the court, but it is pretty sure that Shamira will dearly pay for the crimes that she has committed.
