Nicki Minaj loves the drama, but not as much as the drama loves Nicki. The rapper who is now engaged to Kenneth Petty was seen at a nightclub in Miami on Wednesday. After her social media break and months of keeping a low profile, she was seen partying with her husband.
The rapper has a reputation of controversies, but marrying a sex offender was the greatest one of all time. Nicki’s brother, Jelani Maraj, was sentenced to prison for repeatedly raping an 11-year-old child. The anaconda star donned a white co-rd and form-fitting grey legging to match the top. The rapper’s brother was sentenced to jail for 25 years or more, and this was her first post since then.
The 41-year-old Maraj was found guilty of sexual assault and rape of an 11 year, endangering the welfare of a child’ in 2017, and on Monday, Nassau County Supreme Court Judge, Robert McDonald, gave him his sentence.
Convicted in 2016, Nicki wrote in a bid for her brother’s reduced sentence calling him a patient, gentle and giving man she ever knew. Endangering the life of the child added 364 days more to his already long sexual assault sentence.
According to the victim’s statement, the sexual assaults occurred as frequently as four times a week and even two times a day. She also told the court how all this had made her suicidal. Apparently, Nicki has decided to stay quiet about all the arrests.
Her husband, Kenneth, is also a sex offender and was added to the list in 1995. The new year state police department named Petty a two-time sex offender. He was ultimately sentenced to 18 to 54 months in prison. The couple goes way back and is also childhood friends. They tied the knot on Oct 21.
