Dr. Stone is an adventure post-apocalyptic animated fiction Japanese manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki & published by Shueisha. The series was renewed at the finale, i.e., at the 24^th episode of season 1.

Dr. Stone is a very popular manga series published in the weekly magazine of Shone Jump. The ending of the first season was unanticipated, surprisingly made the audience wait for the second season. Season 1 was highly successful, and the production house was very happy with the victory. Season 2 aims to provide more scientific knowledge to the audience. They were rumors stating that the series would end after the release of season 1, leaving it halfway.

A post was deleted, which declared that season 2 would be a “continuous broadcast” and made it more sensational. During the Anime Expo 2019 premiere of Dr. Stone, the producer “Shusuke Katagon” stated that the whole production team is fond of alcohol, and the show is made on it.

Reports state that the main cast of season 1 will be back for season 2, including the staff. The series will be directed by Shinya Lino. Season 1 consisted of two cours, and Cour 1 broadcasted 10-13 episodes for 3 months. Cour 2 started with the 14^th episode, which aired on October 4, 2019, and ended with 24^th episode, which aired on December 13, 2019. The cours also had an opening and ending theme songs.

Season 2 will help in saving the civilization of villagers by Senku and his friends. The trailer of season 2 depicts that Senku did all the possible things and built everything that could help in battling Tsukasa.

Senku’s friends, Yuzuriha & Taiju, will help him in achieving his mission of rescuing the statues. Season 2 is the continuation of the plot Stone Wars arc improved from the manga series. Season 2 would be of a single cour, which indicates the show will run for 3 months carrying 10 to 14 episodes.
