There is nothing new about anime shows which are based on a manga series. The latest addition to the list is Dr. Stone. This adventure and post-apocalyptic anime show are based on the manga series of the same name. The first season of Dr. Stone released on the 5th of July, 2019. A second season was also confirmed by the makers after the finale of the first season.

Dr. Stone: About The Anime
The human population is hit by a mysterious and deadly flashlight which turns them into stone. The story is set in a time period after this incident occurred and revolves around a prodigy, Senku Ishigam, who is revived back to life. He then revives his friend, Taiju Oki and his other classmates using nitric acid. Senku wants to revive the entire civilization but his plan his opposed by a martial artist, who believes an entirely new civilization should be created. This leads to a war between them. Who will win? Will a new civilization be created? Who turned the entire human population into stone?
Dr. Stone Season 2: About The Season
Not much can be said about the show right now but people can expect a battle between the Senku’s kingdom of science and Tsukasa’s empire. By watching the teaser, we can say one thing for sure. Dr. Stone season 2 will be featuring the Stone Wars arc. A whole new adventure awaits us.

The release date of Dr. Stone season 2 is yet not confirmed by its makers but it is expected that the show will release by the mid of 2020.
