Every second Netflix fan is talking about its latest release, Extraction, these days.
Extraction, the action-thriller American movie, was released on Netflix on April 24, 2020. Although it received mixed reviews from the critics and fans, a sequel of it was confirmed by the makers.

WHAT IS THE PLOT OF EXTRACTION ABOUT?
The plot of Extraction revolves around a former Australian soldier and black-market mercenary, Tyler Rake. He is hired for a mission by his fellow mercenary. His job is to bring back the kidnapped son of his recruiter, who was kidnapped by the lord of a drug cartel. Tyler reaches Bangladesh in order to find Ovi but gets involved with the dangerous underworld.
Unafraid of the impending danger, will Tyler successfully rescue Ovi?

The reason why Indian fans are going frenzy about Extraction, is because of its unique cast. Starring Chris Hemsworth in the lead, the movie also features brilliant Indian actors like Randeep Hooda and Pankaj Tripathi.
Other cast members include David Harbour of The Stranger Things fame, National Film Award for the Best Actress winner, Geetanjali Thapa, Rudhraksh Jaiswal of the Noor fame, and Iranian actress, Golshifteh Farahani.
EXTRACTION 2- WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE PLOT?
Well, not much can be said about the plot of Extraction 2, as of now but people are guessing that in the sequel, we can expect that Tyler will continue to play the role of a guardian of Ovi, [spoiler] after all he did successfully manage to rescue him. There is also a slight chance that we will see Tyler on a new mission in the upcoming sequel.
Well, according to Sam Hargrave, in the original plot of the movie, Tyler was supposed to die, but after trying out that ending, it did not seem like a likable one. In the final scenes of the movie, we saw Tyler falling off a bridge.
Does that mean Tyler is dead? Well, nothing was confirmed in the movie, so our guesses are, he is very much alive and in fact, he was the one who was watching Ovi when he was at home.
Now the prime question is, will Tyler be a major part of Extraction 2, or is he already dead?
WHEN WILL EXTRACTION 2 RELEASE?
Although Joe Russo, the producer of Extraction, confirmed a sequel movie, there has been no announcement regarding its release date. Keeping in mind the fact that the movie released not even a fortnight ago and all the production is currently paused due to Covid-19, we can expect that the movie will either release by the end of 2021 or during the early months of 2022.
