Nicky Minaj left her millions of fans in utter shock when she announces her secret marriage to Kenneth Petty. What’s even more shocking is Kenneth’s charge sheet. It includes 12 arrests for crimes ranging from sexual assault to shooting a man dead.
36-year old Nicky went public with her relationship with 41-year-old Petty back in 2018. But they had first dated when Minaj was just 16 and living in Queens, New York.
Petty would have been around 21 at the time — and five years earlier, he had been convicted of attempted rape of a teenager who alleged he held a knife to her stomach while forcing himself on her. He was sent to prison for four years.
But this was just the beginning. After midnight on April 27, 2002, Petty shot a man three times in the stomach with a handgun. The victim, Lamont Robinson, was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Petty is now a registered sex offender and has to provide authorities with updated photos and location information regularly.
Well, Petty is married to the hit rapper now. Minaj showed off “Bride” and “Groom” embellished baseball caps. Also, she posted a picture of “Mr” and “Mrs” mugs online on Monday. Further details of the marriage have not been known yet.
