Rumors that Fleabag is returning for the third season are doing rounds. Are they true? Will there be a Fleabag Season 3? Unfortunately, the answer is no. The series came to an end after the second season, and it still stands canceled. Walter-Bridge, the writer and main lead of the show, believed that after the second season, justice was done to the show and the character of Fleabag, so there was no point in extending it. The actor who played the role of Claire, Sian Clifford, confirmed the same. She said the story got the end, which completed it, and therefore a third season is not needed.

Walter-bridge was quoted saying- “Oh dammit, maybe I shouldn’t have waved goodbye.’ [But] it does feel like the story is complete… it does feel right to go out on a high. It doesn’t get higher than this. It feels like the perfect way to say goodbye.”
