Producer Jeff Franklin charges!
The producer Jeff Franklin was separated wit the show because of the harassment allegations in 2018.
In April 2019, he filed a lawsuit on Bryan Behar – he is one of the show’s writers – after he became showrunner of Fuller House. He attacked Bryan of moving up misinformation and fuelling allegations, to which he replied, refusing that he had spoken to the press about the charges in the issue.
Thinking on this, yet, it appears doubtful that this is the reason the show is ending with season 5, as there are still more episodes to come in 2020, and it’s a fairly strong season. Possibly the creative minds only felt it had started to run its program.
