Golden Kamuy is an adventurous historical Japanese manga series written by Satoru Noda and published by Shueisha. Its anime adaptation of the same name premiered in April 2018 and has three seasons. It is directed by Hitoshi Nanba and written by Noboru Takagi. This story follows a young Ainu girl named Asirpa and her quest to find a vast fortune of gold for the Ainu people, she is helped by Saichi Sugimoto, a veteran of the early twentieth century Russo-Japanese War. Golden Kamuy season3 episode 11, titled Sin and Impurity, is set to air on December 14th 2020. First two seasons of this series are available on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Amazon prime.

The Plot
The story of Golden Kamuy revolves around Saichi Sugimoto, a veteran of the early twentieth century Russo-Japanese War. When the war ended, he began working in the mines to provide for the widow of a fallen comrade. He learns about a large cache of Ainu gold and embarks on a journey to find it. Sugimoto’s other traits such as kindness and compassion are often overlooked because of his fierce nickname, Sugimoto the Immortal, for his death defying acts in the war and the three angry scars that mar his face. When he first learns about a 75 kgs of Ainu gold, he thinks that it’s a hoax. But when the story turns out to be true. He teams up with a young Ainu girl named Aspira, and together, they embark on this hunt for the treasure.
In episode 10, Kiroranke’s group breaks out Sofia and other inmates by detonating an explosive against the wall of Ako prison. Sofia and Aspira speak about the latter’s father, Wilk. On his way to Ako, an ice block breaks which leads to Shiraishi falling in the ocean and his talisman breaks so he has no support what so ever. But Sugimoto makes it in time and saves Shiraishi from drowning in icy water.
