How to Get Away with Murder Season 7 is Finally Renewed & Here is Everything we know so far

How to get away with murder is an American legal thriller web series that was released on September 25, 2014. It was premiered on the ABC network and was created by Peter Norwalk. After the first season was released, there was an immediate demand for a sequel, and since then, ABC has been putting out hits after hits.

The show has had six seasons thus far and recently got renewed for a 7th one. The show has been critically acclaimed all over the world, with winning awards like the Emmy Award for the Best TV Series of that year.

The show revolves around the story of Annalise Keating, who is a well-known law professor at the prestigious Philadelphia University. In her latest batch of students, she meets 5 law pursuing graduates, who, alongside her, are intertwined in a murder plot. The detective responsible for handling this case is Billy Brown, who also coincidentally is Annalise’s boyfriend in the series. Talk about a coincidence!

Previously, Netflix confirmed that the 7th season of this hit show would be released on April 2, 2020, but as of yet, no episodes have been released. After the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been an apparent delay in the airing of the new season. The show has yet to announce how far the release date will be delayed. We can only hope it’s not a lot.


The full cast for the 7th season hasn’t been released, but some of the season regulars are certain to return. The female law professor along with her five students is coming back, and the actors that play them are as follows: Viola Davis as Annalise Keating, Alfred Enoch as Wes Gibbins, Jack Falahee as Connor Walsh, Jack Falahee as Connor Walsh, Matt McGorry as Asher Millstone and Karla Souza as Laurel Castillo.

Along with the main culprits of the story, Billy Brown, as Nate Lahey, who is the protagonist of the show, is also expected to return to the main stage!
