The Last Kingdom Season 4: Everything we know so far! The famous Bernard Cornwell’s The Saxon Stories novel series is all set to make a comeback with the fourth season. Sheild walls are ready and here is everything we know about it. Before Netflix confirmed the filming of 10 episodes, the show’s Twitter handle announced the renewal of the show’s next season. After the show’s Official page posted “join Uhtred on Netflix next year while the battalion continues”, the fans went crazy.

We do not know the precise details about the release date but it is expected to be out very soon. The Last Kingdom is based on the novel The Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwell, set in the ninth century AD.
The Storyline of Season 4:
The protagonist is an enemy of Uhtred, a Saxon boy who was brought by Dens after taking them and decides to raise him on his own. Uhtred betrays him, and Dens is convinced that he has killed his father, who was adopted. Uhtred was forced to travel to Wessex, one of seven states that are not under Dens control. This season might also see a lot of young actors as the children of the Uhtred de Gisela grow up.
Who will we see in this season?
There will be several returning castes, including Ian Hart, Toby Rego, Emily Cox, Timothy Innes, Eliza Butterworth, Millie Brady, Mark Rowley, Jeppe Beck Lauren, Magnus Brun. The broadcast platform also confirms that the first suspect, Stephanie Martini, will also join the cast as Edith. Jamie Blackley is about to join the cast as Eerdwulf, Atlehred’s new right-hander. The first two seasons were aired by BBC and Netflix but the third season was aired exclusively by Netflix and so will season 4.
