Season 1 of Solo Leveling concluded a little while ago and the immensely popular series has already garnered expectations. Fans loved the first season of the webtoon and are dying to learn about what happens next.
Solo Leveling has become one of the most read Korean Manhwas in a very short time. So much so, that fans have started asking popular studios to release a new anime based on the Manhwa.
This leads us to the question of the hour, when is Solo Leveling – Season 2, aka Chapter 111 of the Manhwa releasing?
Let’s try and figure this out.
Solo Leveling Season 2: Recap
Solo Leveling is a Korean novel written by Chu – Gong. The series was first serialized in Papyrus and then Kakaopage. It had 14 volumes and 270 chapters. In April 2018, Kakoapage serialized the novel into a webtoon. Hyeon – Gun and Jang Sung-Rak have animated the series.
A Korean webtoon is called a Manhwa. What this means is that it is technically a Korean Manga: A comic series that is published in the Korean language and is serialized for publication. So from the light novels, Solo Leveling was adapted as a Manhwa.
The first season on Solo Leveling was 110 chapters long and was wrapped up in volumes. The announcement of the end of season one was made by DNC Publishing on twitter. The Manhwa follows the story of Sung Jin-Woo, the weakest hunter in the E rank. Sung Jin-Woo barely manages to survive being trapped in an extremely dangerous dungeon and must fight his way to becoming the strongest hunter in the rank.
