Houndoom
Houndoom, quite a different dog and ever you wondered what different will its evolution bring to you. You can get to know that once you will go through the Stats, Weakness, Moveset, Usefulness and other information of Houndoom.
Houndoom is a Generation 2 Pokémon that possesses Dark/Fire-type abilities. It has a canine-like appearance. But it is very different from a normal dog. Two long grey-coloured horns are located on its head. A grey band wraps its entire neck area with a big-sized skull pendant. The bottom part of each leg is covered with a pair of circular bands and the ribcage section has three ridges mounted on it. A black muzzle is present in the middle of its orange-coloured mouth. The lower part of its belly also contains the same colour as its mouth. Most of its body is coloured with black and its tail looks like a thin curved arrow. If you look closely, then you will witness the black colour of its small-sized pupils in its orange eyes.
The pack of a Houndoom requires a leader. Only that Houndoom is chosen as the leader whose horns are more curved and sharp than the others. Otherwise, fighting against the other Houndoom within the pack is also an alternative. Additionally, you must know that the horns of a male Houndoom are much bigger than its female counterpart.

How To Evolve?
We know that Houndour serves as the pre-evolutionary form of Houndoom. You have to increase Houndour’s level up to 24 to evolve it into its Houndoom form.
Houndoom is one of those rare Pokémon who can undergo Mega Evolution. All we need is a Mega Stone named Houdoominite to convert it into Mega Houndoom.
Houndoom’s Mega evolutionary form looks much more badass than the traditional version. It looks bigger and stronger than the basic form. Do you remember the skull pendant around the neck of Houndoom? Well, it gets replaced by a huge tooth-like structure with two pointy ends emerging on each side of its chest and three pointy spikes directed downwards. Houndoom curved horns become straight and thicker than before after the Evolution. The end of its tail gets divided into two long-shaped triangles while the legs in the back lose the bands. Also, the colour of its claws changes from grey to red.
Furthermore, Houndoom’s Mega Evolution process generates a lot of heat. So, don’t get scared when you see it Mega evolving!
How Much Useful Is My Houndoom?
It serves as a Dark and Fire-type Pokémon in the franchise which makes Houndoom a Pokemon having weakness against Water, Ground, Fighting, and Rock-type Moveset. Plus, its stomach is stored with dangerous toxins. It combines those toxins with its flames to wipe out the enemies. The injuries induced due to its flame during the battle have no cure in the world.
Flash Fire and Early Bird are the two most important abilities of Houndoom. The first ability boosts up the power of its Fire-type Moveset by 50%. Will-O-Wisp helps in activating this power. While the second one aids it in awaking instantly from Sleep Effect. Plus, Unnerve acts as its hidden ability. It doesn’t allow its opponents to use their Berry against it.
Well, do you think that the Houndoom Evolution can suffice your needs in the game after going through its weakness, Moveset, stats and more? If yes then you should run down to the Pokemon official page for Houndoom Evolution!
But if still, you think that you may find some better Moveset, stats and less unhealthy weakness with the help of evolution other than of Houndoom, then Herald Journalism has information stocked for that purpose.
