The show is set up in multi-world reality. The characters have a daemon in this world, an animal companion, which is a physical manifestation of the human soul. The central character Lyra Belacqua discovers dangerous secrets between Lord Asriel and Marisa Coulter. She also uncovers a series of kidnapping events occurring around her, all of the kidnappings are related to the mysterious substance Dust. At the end of the first season, we see Lyra enter the bridge of Multi-verse and Will also discovers an entry into the multiverse.

The above tweet was the official confirmation for His Dark Materials Season 2. The second season is going to have seven episodes in total. The Title of the Episodes are as follows:- “The City of Magpies”, “The Cave”, “Theft”, “Tower of the Angels”, “The Scholar”, “Malice”, and “Aesahaettr.”

The First episode of His Dark Materials has already been released for the UK viewers on 8th November 2020. However, for the US and other international viewers, it is going to be released on 16th Novem, ber 2020.
