Phanpy (Japanese: ゴマゾウ Gomazou) is a small, blue elephant-like Pokemon. It has giant, flabby ears, which it uses as fans to cool itself, and sweet oval-shaped eyes. There are two red pads on each ear and another on the span of its short trunk. This small trunk is sensitive, yet strong and can send a person flying just by an adoring, playful bump of its muzzle. Additionally, this little Pokemon is strong enough to carry an adult human on its back. Phanpy has a single nail on each of its four feet and a really small tail. These features make this Pokemon an adorable one
Phanpy is found in rocky terrain. To make its nest, it digs a vertical pit at the edge of a river. It displays ownership of this area by drawing a circle with its trunk around the nest. In the morning hours, Phanpy uses its trunk to shower in the river. When they all gather around, they thoroughly drench each other with water. Afterwards, it can be seen drying its body near the edge of the river where they made their home.

How To Evolve?
There are currently a total of 2 Pokemon in the Phanpy family. Phanpy evolves into Donphan which costs 50 Candies. It was introduced in Generation 2, at level 25 in Johto region. Phanpy can be found inside the Mausoleum of Origins or can be obtained through trade and the Pokemon Roulette. However, it evolves into Beta Phanpy while exposed to a Beta Stone.
How Much Useful Is My Phanpy?
Despite its access to use moves such as Knock Off and Ice Shard, Phanpy is still not feasible in the Little Cup metagame because it is directly outclassed by Mudbray, due to its better overall stats and ability in Stamina. Phanpy is weak and slow, and its Special Defense is horrible, which is something Abra, Snivy, and Omanyte can exploit and make it useful to bring down Phanpy.
This Elephant Pokemon provides utility through Stealth Rock, which is useful against the likes Ponyta and Doduo, and Knock Off, which is useful because most Pokemon in Little Cup hold Eviolite.
In Pokémon GO, Phanpy is a Ground-type Pokemon that has a max CP of 1364, 107 attacks, 98 defence and 207 stamina in Pokemon GO. It was originally found in the Johto region (Gen 2). Sunny weather is very favourable for Phanpy and it could not be a Shiny Phanpy Weakness when it is a sunny day. Tackle and Rock Slide (6.68 DPS) are the best moves of Phanpy.
Despite its weaknesses, this pokemon cannot be held weak as even they can defeat a strong foe by knocking off the frail points.
