Gastrodon
Gastrodon (Japanese: トリトドン Tritodon) is a giant sea slug-like Pokemon and appears much the same as its pre-evolution, but it gains four more stubby legs and is noticeably larger. Gastrodon really seems interesting, no not as of its appearance but as of its Moveset, Stats, Abilities, too. Also, the weakness of Gastrodon doesn’t seem that much effective in comparison to its strength.
The west Sea form is brown and pinkish with bumps and pink spots at the back. The four tentacles on its head resemble Rhinophores and oral tentacles. It also has two prostrutions on its neck underneath the horns. In addition to it, it has a yellow border running down its body from its head, separating the brown and the pink coloration.
The East Sea’s body is green and turquoise-colored. The rhinophores are wavy and pointed back, and lacks oral tentacles. The underside up to the bottom is its mouth is blue, its back and the top of its head is completely green. There are turquoise spots at the back including a yellow ridge that forms a fin. In addition to it, it has a yellow border running down its body from its head, separating the blue and green collaboration.
Both the forms have plain black eyes with white irises, with a third eye in the center of their foreheads. When the Pokemon has threatened it oozes purple fluid and flees. It also has strong regenerative capabilities and can recover from injuries within a few hours. It lives in shallow tidal pools and generally eats Plankton. However, occasionally it looks for food on land leaving a sticky trail of slime in the process. Gastrodon cannot live in the land for long because their body is highly vulnerable to dehydration.
It was revealed in the Last Call- First Round!, Zoeys West Sea Shellos that it evolved into a Gastrodon. It was used along with Lumineon in the Performance Stage of the Sinnoh Grand Festival. It was later used in the Contest Battles as well, winning them and assuring Zoey would make her way to the finals.

Gastrodon was first introduced in Generation 4. It evolves from Shellos starting at level 30. It belongs to the Sinnoh region. Gastrodon has 2 different appearances i.e. West Sea and East Sea.
How Much Useful Is My Gastrodon?
Gastrodon has pretty impressive Base stats, the highest being that of HP. Gastrodon is also resistant to Electric, Steel, Rock, Poison, Fire moveset and deals 63% of the damage. Hence with great strategy and encountering the opponent’s weakness, Gastrodon Pokemon can come up as a great one on the field.
Weaknesses

Other strong Pokemon ho can stand a great chance against Gastrodon (West Sea) are Roserade, Sceptile, Breloom, Venusaur, Porygon-Z.
Well, do you think that the Gastrodon Evolution can suffice your needs in the game after going through its weakness, Moveset, stats, and more? If yes then you should run down to the Gastrodon Evolution!
But if still, you think that you may find some better Moveset, stats, and less unhealthy weakness with the help of evolution other than of Gastrodon, then Herald Journalism has information stocked for that purpose.
