Dead to Me Season 3: Renewal Status
In July 2020, Netflix officially announced the return of Dead to Me Season 3. The creator of the show, Liz Feldman said that they never had any intentions for the show to be a long one and thus season 3 would be the final one.

Dead to Me Season 3: Release Date
The first season of the series premiered on May 9, 2019, with the second season out at the same time in 2020. We won’t be expecting the third season in 2022 as the production of the season has been delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak. The team of Dead to Me is anticipating the production to start in 2021.
No release date of season 3 has been announced yet.
We can expect the core cast members to reprise their roles in the new upcoming season. Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini’s, the best friend duo Jen and Judy will be returning for the new season. James Marsden should also be back as Ben with Diana Maria Riva as detective Ana Perez and Brandon Scott as Nick Prager. Sam McCarthy and Luke Roessler will also return as Jen’s kids Charlie and Henry. We can expect new members to join the cast for the third season.
The Expected Plot
Season 1 and 2 focused on each best friend’s secret with Judy being involved in the accident that killed Jen’s husband and Jen killing Steve. The third season can be expected to focus on someone else’s secret. There is also a possibility of Season 3 focusing on the dilemmas in Ben’s life. The season could also see Jen and Judy trying to find leverage over Ben if he proves to be a threat. A possibility of Steve’s money-laundering scheme and connection to the Greek mafia to return in Season 3. Everything aside, we know the new season will be as exciting as the other two seasons.
