Alex Trebeck renowned game show host and an actor have informed his fans through twitter that the production of the famous show “jeopardy” has been suspended, keeping in view the safety of the staff and crew members.  The current episodes of the show had been taped before the Covid-19 pandemic, as informed by the Jeopardy team.

This step has been taken as a preventative measure as the legendary show host has a higher risk of getting the Covid-19 virus due to his medical condition and age. The show will be recorded in April with no audience. He has promised his fans to keep them updated regarding his health.

MEDICAL HISTORY

Alex Trebeck was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on March 6, 2019. He had persistent stomach aches before the diagnosis. He has a contract In March 2020, Trebek announced he had survived one year of cancer treatment (noting that his prognosis to survive that long was only an 18% chance) and that. T

hough the chemotherapy treatments were often worse than the cancer symptoms themselves, he was confident that he would survive another year, saying that ending treatment would be a “betrayal” to his family, supporters and to the God in whom he has faith. He has contracted to host “Jeopardy” till 2022.
